I provide speech pathology assessments face-to-face in Hotham Hill or parent and therapy programs via telehealth (online). I'm Brent, a paediatric speech pathologist from Melbourne. The parent and therapy programs I provide look at speaking and listening, social emotional, speech sound, and speech fluency skills.

When speech and language difficulties are present alongside other conditions like autism spectrum disorder, dyslexia, or ADHD, then the stress and anxiety can be multiplied.
If you’re on this journey with your child, you may be at the “Where do I start?” point. Maybe you’re further along at the “Where do I go from here?” stage. Or even wondering “What else can I do to help them?”.
As soon as you have an inkling that something is not “right”, assessments and diagnostics should be your first stop. You may have been referred here by a teacher, GP, or even a fellow parent with previous experience. The reason your child needs an assessment is to benchmark ability and potential. From there, we’ll have a better idea of where they might be lacking, and how big the gap is.
