The Bridges Social Curriculum is designed to support autistic children in their social and emotional learning, which can be as crucial as learning subjects like math. Autistic children may face challenges in understanding social interactions, which can lead to anxiety, confusion, and social isolation affecting their performance in school.

The curriculum offers comprehensive and in-depth weekly lesson plans supported by various resources such as social posters, videos, activities, charts, role plays, quizzes, and interactive challenges. Concepts are built upon one another and presented in different ways to ensure effective and lasting learning.

It emphasizes interconnected learning, helping children understand how social interactions relate to one another, making complex situations easier to interpret. The content is tailored to align with the unique thinking and learning styles of autistic children, drawing insights from over 12 years of curriculum development and feedback from both children and parents.

The curriculum's progress monitoring through a Personalized Dashboard allows for measurable results, helping evaluate the child's response to each module. Importantly, the curriculum is designed to be manageable, allowing children to learn at their own pace, with flexibility to apply different activities across multiple sessions at school, in clinics, or at home.

The expected outcomes of using the Bridges curriculum include improved listening skills, increased independence in self-care and daily living, better understanding of others' perspectives, enhanced communication skills, improved emotional recognition and management, and greater sociability, including making friends more easily. These outcomes contribute to the child's overall development and ability to navigate social interactions effectively.
